A sow's ear Prince (or what used to be called CKE) is a text-based adventure originally inspired by the Princess Maker saga.

The narrative follows Owen, a recently orphaned jester-prince who, after his father and brother’s death, is forced to begin a learning journey to become worthy of Ararat’s throne.

The games focus is set on the characters Owen meets and the relationships he stablishes with them. This, however, is not the only route to achieve a unique ending; Choices regarding the management of the country or exposure to mysterious forces will also lead to special resolutions.

You may bond with characters during your lessons, adventures or the free time you spend in the city of Nabonassar.

Depending on the time of the day (early morning, morning, noon, afternoon, evening or night) and the place you decide to spend said time at you may or may not come across certain character events. These freetime periods happen once a season.

Characters can be categorised in: General, Foreign Royalty and Family.

The Travelling Merchant	Pasha Wyllt	A charismatic boy with an outstanding personality who feels foreign to the world.
The Fisherman	Hudson Wyllt	A noble hearted boy who enjoys fishing and travelling by sea with his father.
The Doctor	Palmira Xerxes	A stern woman who seems bemused by anything and everything.
The Nurse	Aldino Kiss	An enigmatic grumpy man with a sordid background.
The Waitress	Dámasa Olrok	A sarcastic lass with a broad sense of humour and Owen's best friend.
The Minstrel	Anhelo Olrok	He is just as sarcastic as his sister but on a dryer note and less patience.
The Knight	Gabrial Anerkrator	A young man who often lives in his own head.
The Museum Manager	Nieves Olmedo	A cultured woman with a joyful approach to life.
The Botanical Garden Manager	Xonás Abundio Ferraz	A  sensible man with various interests. He keeps a "diary of discoveries".
The Librarian	Cixilo Cleary	An introverted reckless young woman who tends to be unfairly lucky.
The Student	Alistair Ormuz	A young teen with an interest for History.

Characters will sometimes mention where they usually spend time at or where they are going. If you remember this you will find it easy to meet the characters you're most eager to get to know!
